Marketing Internship
Finnebrogue’s marketing internship programme provides students, school leavers and recent graduates with the opportunity to gain valuable experience of marketing and communications at one of the UK’s leading food businesses.
The marketing intern will work with the marketing and communications team and support high profile nationwide campaigns. They will have excellent organisation, writing, IT and communication skills – and a strong academic record.
The internship programme presents an opportunity for bright, creative and energetic young people to be exposed to a fast-paced office environment and build experience of marketing, advertising and communications operations in a fast-growing, highly innovative business.
Interns will gain hands-on experience of delivering a marketing strategy that promotes the company and its objectives – whether that be removing nitrites from all processed meats in the UK and devising new innovative methods of making more sustainable food, to tackling social and environmental issues in our local community and working with the charities we support at home and abroad.
Interns will spend anywhere from two to eight weeks at Finnebrogue. All expenses will be paid, including travel and lunch. Interns will also benefit from discounted staff sales on Finnebrogue products.
The internship programme runs on a rolling basis throughout the year. We are currently welcoming applications for roles throughout 2022.

Describe a typical day at Finnebrouge
My internship has been very varied and every day is different. I’ve been learning to complete competitor benchmarking analysis. Helped at benchmarking events, cooking up products for suppliers. I’ve gained further social media management skills by running The Good Little Company’s social media accounts and cooking up recipes to create content. I’ve shadowed the Marketing and Communications managers in meetings and helped to brainstorm and create marketing campaigns. I have gained lots of experience that has helped me in creating an Applied Marketing Project for my MSc Marketing at Ulster University. I’ve enjoyed coming into the office as the team are so friendly and have really helped to make my 10-week placement the best experience possible.
